Upcoming Choir Concerts/Performances and other news!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. It is now a very busy season for us as we prepare for our Christmas concerts and performances. Listed below are 1st and 2nd Grade Choir performances along with details. Remember that you can always send a quick email or call if you have any questions or concerns.

Tuesday 12/3: 1st Grade Christmas Concert at 6:00 in the CES Lunchroom. Choir members will meet in the library at 5:45. Wear your choir t-shirt, jeans, and a Santa or elf hat. 1st Grade choir t-shirts will be passed out this morning.

Thursday 12/5: 2nd Grade Choir is singing for the Millbrook Christmas Tree Lighting at the Millbrook Park. The Tree Lighting program starts at 6:00 and we are singing at 6:30. I ask that we all gather around 6:15 to the side of the stage. It may be cold so try to wear warm clothes in Christmas colors (red, green, white) and a Santa hat.

Saturday 12/7: 1st Grade Choir is singing on the CES float for the Millbrook Christmas Parade. We will be wearing our choir t-shirts, jeans, and a Santa or elf hat. You can wear a black or white long sleeved shirt under the choir shirt. More details on what time and where to meet will be coming this week.

Tuesday 12/10: 2nd Grade Christmas Concert at 6:00 in the CES Lunchroom. Choir members will meet in the library at 5:45. Wear your choir t-shirt, jeans and a Santa hat. 2nd Grade choir t-shirts will be passed out that morning.

Wednesday 12/18: Santa Breakfast - The 1st and 2nd Grade choirs will be singing for the Santa breakfast. You do not need to wear your choir t-shirt and jeans that day as I know many classes have special shirts or pajama day. We are only singing a few songs from our program.

We will still be having choir practices. 2nd Grade Choir's last practice will be on 12/18 and 1st Grade's last practice will be on 12/12.

To help us perform our best on our concerts please practice the songs and words with your child. I am looking forward to a wonderful and festive Christmas season.

  1. The 1st grade choir will be the only one on the float right? For some reason my 2nd grader thinks they will all be on it.

    1. You are correct! The 1st Grade is the only group singing on the float.
